GENERAL RULES

We reserve the right to remove anyone from the property without a refund who fails to follow any rules or disturbs any of the actors, staff or fellow customers. If any single member of your group is caught breaking the rules, your entire group will be asked to leave the property.

FAQ's

Nightmare Cleveland is an all-indoor Haunted House. We also feature indoor waiting on most nights as well as covered waiting areas outside .  We are open rain or shine.

Pretty much nothing.
No backpacks, bags or purses are permitted. You will go through a full security checkpoint with metal detectors and Cleveland Police. Any prohibited items that are found must be returned to your vehicle or disposed of before you are permitted to enter the facility. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Security is not permitted to hold onto any items while you go through the attraction.

All cell phones or any loose items MUST be secured in a closed pocket at all times. Items may not be kept in a waistband. If you do not have pockets you will need to leave it in your vehicle or someone in your group may secure them for you. Nothing may be held in your hands while walking through the attractions.

Any lost items can not be searched for during the night or after we close. Our team will need to wait until the next business day when the fog dissipates and the overhead lights are turned on. Please report any lost items with detailed descriptions or pictures to us at info@nightmarecleveland.com.

Nightmare Cleveland is a high intensity dark attraction that requires both of your hands to be kept free to navigate safely.

NO photos or videos are allowed inside the haunted house. No go pros, cameras or professional video equipment is allowed past the security checkpoint.

You may take photos outside or in the waiting line as long as you are respectful of guests around you and not using a flash.

NO flashlights, lighters, phone lights or lighting devices allowed in the Haunt at any time.

Yes, local police and sheriff are on the property at all times.

Yes, there are security cameras both in the haunted house, in the waiting area, parking lot and outside for the safety of the customers and our actors.

ONLY if you purchase a Touch Pass upgrade and are actively wearing your touch pass glow necklace. Learn more about the Touch Pass here.

Otherwise, the actors will NOT touch, grab or hold onto you. Due to the extremely dark and disorienting scenes, accidents happen and actors or staff may brush up against you or come in contact with you.

DO NOT touch the actors. Even if you have a Touch Pass. Touching or disturbing actors or staff in any way will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund).

We do not currently have concessions at our haunted house. However, we are located in an area with a high number of restaurants and fast food options that are open late.

No food or drinks are allowed in the Haunt or while waiting in line. 

With a Touch Pass, the creatures and hellish beings within the haunt will be drawn to you and will interact with you more than the average guest. You will not be dragged or locked in a room, this is an experience upgrade designed to make the show more intense but still fun. You must be 18 years of age to participate.

Due to this being a reservation based attraction, Sales are 100% Final. We do not offer refunds if you miss your date/time.
